Novacek bro i'm in the same boat as you. I've been off the competition scene for a few months (BJJ), and i've fallen in love with Wendy's. So I at one point was a person who competed at 175lbs, and now I'm 215lbs! So I've got to lose 45lbs within the next 3 months before competition season kicks in heavy again. I'll check out Lyle's weight loss book (this one: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/the-ra ... s-handbook)
Hey, thanks for the reply BackAddict. We are definately in a smiliar situation. Last year I wrestled at 152, and competed jiu-jitsu at 160-175lbs. as well. Now, I'm about 210 after vacation... Lol! I was reading into TRFLH and I train way too much for a PSMF. I think I've made the decision to go low glycemic index. Seems promising after some research. Pretty basic as well.
Bah, if I gotta knock my training down to 2-3 times per week in order to get my weight in check i'll do it. That'll be crazy though, General Endurance Block, Training, and PSMF diet. I'll be in for some interesting times, lol.
If you are trying to lose weight why are you having lots of soda, chips, bars, shakes, peanuts and other items that are caloric dense and won't leave you satiated?
I've gone from 208 to 184 using intermittent fasting and still eating fairly normally. Eat Stop Eat and http://www.leangains.com/2010/04/leangains-guide.html have been very helpful, on top of information from Lyle. I look at calories on a weekly basis not daily. So if I have a few beers and wings watching UFC tonight, I may skip a meal and snack tomorrow. I have found this to be highly manageable with work and training. I train boxing and BJJ 8 hours a week and strength and conditioning 4 days a week.
Fat loss is not difficult today. We can do regular exercise and follow a proper diet plan for fat burning. In exercises running and walking are best exercises. In diet fruits and vegetables are best diet food. With these tools we can burn fat easily.
I am always preferred natural ways just like exercise rather than what's ever we make diet plan. Swimming good one in this regard. If you are just doing aerobic for a work out, I honestly think it does not issue what you do, provided that you hit your focus on pulse amount and do it for no more than 45 moments a day/5 times per weeks time.

If you are athlete then don't take more low carb diet because it can disturb your training. You should take high protein diet and raw veggies diet along with regular workout plan. These diet will help you to burn your excess fat and also improve your muscular health.
