I am a physiotherapist and have worked in professional soccer for several years in England and so much like you say that even at the elite level there is a lot of ineffective training methods been used I tend to agree just from my experience. Is the VO2 Max Intervals above known as Cardiac Power Intervals in your book? Besides longer work intervals, I don’t see the difference.

If you skipped every other stair and were holding some weight then it could potentially work, but you’d want to have a very long staircase
